Review: Justin Cronin’s ‘The Twelve,’ Vol. two in the vampire trilogy, suffers sophomore slump

by admin on October 26, 2012

Justin Cronin’s ‘The Twelve’ is at its finest when it really is scary and disgusting, when there are hardships and hazards and when there is bloody hand-to-claw fight. But the novel simply isn’t as propulsive or effectively-wrought as its predecessor, ‘The Passage.’
