A motorist fired a number of shots at a passing automobile on westbound Interstate 580 on Tuesday night, but no one particular was injured, police said.A maroon colored 4-door Ford Taurus was riddled with bullets and abandoned by the driver on the side of the freeway not far from Castro Valley Boulevard.
